Can I travel while I am pregnant?
It is always best to check with your provider first. Car travel is usually fine unless you have developed any complications. You want to try and get out and walk around at least every two hours.
Plane travel is also usually fine, however, pregnant women are at a higher risk for developing a blood clot in their legs. Shorter flights are usually safe. Prolonged flights, i.e. international or to Hawaii, can be riskier. Again, it is best to check with your healthcare provider.
