How much weight should I gain?
This depends on your weight before the pregnancy. If your weight is below normal for your height you should gain at least 30-35 pounds. If your weight is normal for your height, you should gain 25-30 pounds. If you are slightly “fluffy” you should limit your weight gain to 10-15 pounds.
Women pregnant with twins/multiples need to gain at least 50 pounds. Talk to your doctor before starting any diet program.
