Certain pregnancies are called “high risk” because they may involve certain factors such as the mother’s diabetes or high blood pressure or various other health, genetic or environmental concerns for the baby or mother. Your obstetrician, along with CPD, will work with you to determine if you have a high-risk pregnancy and help you make healthy decisions for you and your baby.
